CLINICAL INTERESTS:

Medical pleuroscopy with pleural biopsy and talc poudrage, flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, YAP and YAG laser endobronchial therapy, brachytherapy, tracheobronchial stent placement, PDT, thoracic ultrasound, transthoracic ultrasound guided pleural and lung biopsy, ultrasound guided neck lymph node FNA, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), radial EBUS, PEG placement, percutaneous tracheostomy, Pleurx pleural catheter placement, Transtracheal oxygen catheter placement (TTOC)

INVESTIGATIVE INTERESTS:

Raman lung spectroscopy for bronchial pre-malignant lesions, autofluorescence bronchoscopy, bronchial thermoplasty, endobronchial valves (EBV) for COPD, OFDI (OCT) for the diagnosis of central airway disease, confocal microscopy (CFCM), atomized intrapleural lidocaine during pleuroscopy, safety and efficacy of intravenous Dexmedetomidine infusion during flexible bronchoscopy and EBUS, phenotypic and functional characterization of tumor cells from malignant and non-malignant pleural effusions, rapid pleurodesis using pleuroscopy and pleurx catheter placement
