Douglas J.Conrad, MD

Associate Professor of Medicine
Director, Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program

CLINICAL INTERESTS:

  1. Diseases of the airways
  2. Asthma
  3. Cystic Fibrosis

INVESTIGATIVE INTERESTS:

Response of airway epithelium to various stimuli particularly involved with inflammation. Focus specifically on the regulations of protein expression of CFTR and the lipid per oxidating enzyme 15-lipoxygenase is under investigation using transgenic mouse models of asthma and pseudomanias aeruginosa pneumonia.
