EM/Critical Care Medicine Fellowship

For the ERAS 2025 application cycle with training beginning in July 2026, we will be offering an EM/CCM fellowship position to qualified applicants.

Are you an Emergency Medicine resident seeking advanced training in critical care? Our program is offering a dedicated two-year Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Medicine (EM/CCM) fellowship for physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency.

To apply, please use the ERAS application process. When selecting a program, choose the Emergency Medicine/Critical Care track listed on the ERAS website. This track participates in the NRMP match and uses the same program reference number as our Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine program: 1049156F0.

Prerequisites

To be considered for this fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduation from an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency program.
  • We prefer that applicants have completed at least six months of internal medicine rotations, including three months in a medical ICU, before starting the program. This requirement can be flexible if needed.
  • We cannot support J-1 or H-1B visas.

The two-year program is structured as follows:

  • 24 months of total training.
  • 15-18 months of clinical time, which includes approximately three months of rotations in the Emergency Department.
  • 6-9 months of elective and research time.
